The Calgary Homeless Foundation is a systems leader working to end homelessness in Calgary. We coordinate efforts across the homeless-serving system, advocate for policy change, and invest in innovative solutions that help people move from homelessness to housing.

18+ for most roles, 16+ with supervision for meal service
3 months minimum, 4 hours per week preferred
Mandatory orientation and safety training, 2-3 sessions
Required with vulnerable sector screening; $50 fee
2 pieces of government-issued photo ID

Help prepare and serve meals at our emergency shelters and drop-in centers.
Monday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Food Safe certification preferred, compassionate attitude required
Assist clients in finding and maintaining housing by providing guidance and support.
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible scheduling available)
Minimum 8 hours per month
Post-secondary education in social work, psychology, or related field preferred. Strong communication skills essential.
Provide essential office support to help our programs run smoothly.
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Minimum 4 hours per week
Basic computer skills, attention to detail, reliable attendance
Connect with individuals experiencing homelessness in the community.
Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM (various shifts available)
Minimum 6 hours per month
Mental Health First Aid certification required, experience with vulnerable populations preferred
